Konzen winced as he listened to Goku sing his way down the halls. He would have to remember to torture Kenren in a slow and bloody manner. What had possessed that drunken loon to teach the monkey such a ridicules Earth song? And why the hell only the first god-damned verse?

Goku grinned as he skipped continuing to sing now quietly to himself.

He loved the new song that Ken-nii-chan had taught him though he didn't understand why Ten-chan always looked somewhere between amused and sad when he heard him sing. Ken- nii-chan said it was just cause he was a bad singer but he couldn't be sure the General wasn't just pulling his leg.

He had picked Kozen a extra large handful of flowers today and he hoped the god enjoyed them. He got extra quiet slowing to a walk as he approached the door of Konzen's office. He really wanted to surprise him. He knew the older man would never admit it but he could always tell Kozen liked the change of pace brought on my a surprise no matter how small. It was a small thing to achieve but Goku loved to make the dower man happier even if it was only for a moment or two before he pulled out that stupid fan. After all he loved Kozen he was his sun.

Now at the door he was almost holding his breath finding the door slightly ajar. He sidled up closer and peeked in to plan his attack.

Golden eyes widened and pink blooms fell from limp fingers as he took in the sight before him.

Tenpou leaning heavily on the lesser god's desk with one hand. The other was tangled deep in that mess of gold that reminded him of sunlght as the general kissed his keeper. What was worse Kozen wasn't fighting back or even protesting as he did whenever Goku got close. The blond was clearly enjoying the attention and if his hand clutching at the Field Marshal's coat was any indication may have even initiated the contact.

Goku's heart broke in that moment.

Turning on his heel he fled tears blurring his vision as he tried to outrun the pain in his chest. Nothing ever indicated what he had seen or that he had even passed the room save for the broken bloosems scattered across the tile.

"You'll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away..."
